You will not miss the Octagonal Courtyard with the famous Laocoon group and Canova masterpieces.

Raphael Rooms

Taking part in the Vatican Evening Tour, you will surely appreciate the magnificent Raphael rooms. Once the official residence of the popes, decorated by Raffaello, they are on the visitor route through the Vatican.

Sistine Chapel

Finally, the Sistine Chapel is the top attraction for the Vatican night tour. With this evening access on a private after-hours tour, you will have more time to gape at Michelangelo’s fantastical interpretation of The Last Judgment on the chapel’s ceiling!

Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve SIGNIFICANT WALKING. Please provide any mobility and wheelchair access requirements. Also, visitors with limited mobility can contact us for special needs, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps downwards and is not wheelchair accessible. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has wheelchair paths. The tour will continue to the Basilica only if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, the tour will end without accessing the Basilica. Also, note that other participants in your group will have to take charge of pushing the wheelchair. However, suppose you choose the PREMIUM Option, with the car at your disposal, we will be able to organize the Basilica visit. Furthermore, a car at your disposal could help if the person with limited mobility needs rest.

We suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead. Like wheelchairs and walkers, strollers have dedicated paths.

This tour does not include the Basilica of St. Peyer, due to the late entrance. If you desire to visit it, click here to see the full Vatican tour. We will help you customize the starting time in order to visit the Basilica with no lines.
