Rome Colosseum Tour & Roman Forum
Your driver will pick you up at the dock of your Ship at 7:30 and bring you to your private guide. Kick off your Rome shore excursion at the massive Coliseum; fights between gladiators and beasts took place for the pleasure of bloodthirsty Romans. The Rome Colosseum tour continues to the Roman Forum. As you traverse the area, you are walking in the footsteps of Roman Emperors, bringing more than two millennia of history to life.

Unlike other tours, our Coliseum tour includes the Palatine. According to ancient legend, Romulus founded Rome on Palatine hill in 753 B.C. Following his actions, the Emperors built their opulent homes for the rest of the civilization to enjoy.
Lunch
Between 1 pm and 2 pm, you will be offered lunch in a selected restaurant, as included in the tour price ( Starter, Main course, and water).
Vatican City & Sistine Chapel
After lunch (included in the price), you will enter the Vatican with your Rome guide. Home to countless Popes, there are few more uplifting sights than this spiritually enriching setting. Among the galleries of the Vatican Museums, you will enjoy a unique collection of mosaics, ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, and the magnificent Raphael Rooms, once the Pope’s official residence.

Our agency always does everything possible to reorganize the visit with other times, to allow all guests to enjoy everything described above. On the contrary, the guide will explain the sites from the outside. It is impossible to bring large backpacks, bags, and large umbrellas into museums and archaeological areas. Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve SIGNIFICANT WALKING. Please provide any mobility and wheelchair access requirements. Also, visitors with limited mobility can contact us for special needs, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps downwards and is not wheelchair accessible. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has wheelchair paths. The tour will continue to the Basilica only if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs and do not have a wheelchair or a walker. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, the tour will end without accessing the Basilica. Also, note that other participants in your group will have to push the wheelchair. However, we can add an extra charge for an extra transfer from the Museums’ exit to the Basilica entrance, but we cannot skip the line to enter the Basilica.
Furthermore, a car at your disposal could help if the person with limited mobility needs rest.
We suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has stroller paths. Like wheelchairs and walkers, strollers are not allowed in the passage from the Sistine Chapel directly to the Basilica ( 50 steps downward ). Your private tour will end without the Basilica visit. We can add an extra charge for an extra transfer from the Museums’ exit to the Basilica entrance, but we cannot avoid staying in line to enter the Basilica.
The car at your disposal helps when you have babies and need to leave their belongings inside it.
